TIMELINE OF EVENTS

• December 21, 2018 – Board adopts a resolution to consider the district a District of Innovation.
• January 14, 2019 – Superintendent notifies Commissioner of Education of district’s intent to initiate the district of innovation process
• January 17, 2019 – Public Hearing is held to consider whether the district should develop a local innovation plan.
• January 17, 2019 – Board of trustees appoints a committee to develop an innovation plan.
• February 6, 2019 – 3:45 pm DOI Committee planning meeting in the Elementary Library
• February 13, 2019 – 3:45 pm Public Meeting to discuss the final version of the proposed District of Innovation Plan in the Elementary Library. The plan was approved by the committee with a 12-0 vote.
• March 21, 2019 – DOI Plan was approved by Poolville ISD Board of Trustees
